One of my favourite things to do is sit and observe my kidlets and amuse myself with careers their unique little ways might send them to in the future.
They go about their business unaware their skills or interests might one day decide employment for them.
But of course I've got no way of telling, I just like to have a giggle imagining the possibilities.
The following is a list of jobs I can see two-year-old prince number one in and the reasons why.
A personal assistant to a VIP: He organises things beyond organised.
I'm forever finding his die-cast cars, of which he has about 50, grouped into colours.
Oranges are even separated from reds and he also recognises white racing cars as white when they're covered in colourful sticker kits.
Sometimes he groups them in their styles, putting all the trailers, horse floats and caravans together.
Not only that, but he makes sure they all face the same direction and all their front bumpers are perfectly aligned.
A waiter: He pours, repours and pours again.
It doesn't matter if he's in the bath with bath toys, the pool with pool toys, at his sand and water table or inside on a hot day playing with water and Tupperware, he will pour with precision and pass you an offering.
An actor: He's a bit of a `drama prince' (male equivalent of drama queen).
Often, if he has a fall or something doesn't quite go his way and no-one's paying enough attention, he'll play it up so they do.
He can turn the waterworks off as quickly as they spring on, so I guess there's a chance his future might even include the bright lights of Hollywood.
And now, some predictions for nine-month-old prince number two.
An explorer/adventurer/rock-climber.
He's already in my cupboards, under the kitchen table, trying to ride the dog and standing on chairs, much to Mummy's distress.
The first day he pulled himself into a standing position was the day he turned nine months old.
That was one week ago and yesterday I found him standing on a toy chair, trying to climb onto a normal chair.
And I almost had heart failure.
He looks far too little to be standing, let alone climbing.
And although he might be ready for it, I'm not!
An opthamologist: He's quite interested in glasses.
I have four `eyes' and P2 thinks I need only two, frequently pulling my glasses off my face and inspecting them intensely.
A taste tester: He doesn't seem to have issues with putting anything in his mouth.
Be it food, toys, the dog's tail, books or bugs, you name it, he'll give it a go.
Time will tell what working life has in store for my babies, but whatever it is, I hope it's something they enjoy as much as they enjoy doing these things.
